Reigning with Jesus

Reigning in Jesus through Excellence pt. 10

Pastor Dwain Excellence, Leadership, Wisdom

Romans 5:17 – “For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.”

The Gift of Righteousness and the Abundance of grace are interrelated.

Righteousness and Grace are both qualities that exist in Jesus.  They are part of His nature, and now are a part of ours because we have entered into Him.

We have common-union with Jesus.

Righteousness is right-relationship with Father.  Unspoiled, unharmed unity and covenant with Father.  Unbroken fellowship with Father.

Grace is the goodness realm that is in Father.

James 1: 17 – “Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.”

Grace is access into the goodness that is Father.  The Love, the hope, the life of Father.

Every promise comes out of this realm…

All favor, all kindness, all blessing…

All that is Father is good, and grace is where that realm flows out of Father into others and all things.  Since you have received these two gifts, acknowledge that reality with your agreement.

My children called themselves by my name (as did we) before they acted like us, before they produced fruit like us.  Birth came first.  Since you have been born again of God’s living word, you too must claim your identity even in your infancy.

Declare, “I receive the gift of righteousness and believe that I am covered by Jesus.  I receive fellowship with Father, communion with Father and an abundance of grace – that is, gifting, favor, kindness and the inheritance of Jesus.  Therefore I will reign over sin and circumstances, over the curse and the unclean realm.”
