Reigning in Culture through Jesus pt. 2..

Pastor Dwain Excellence, Leadership, Wisdom

We’ve come to Father through the redemption that is ours in Jesus.

We’ve come and received a second chance.

We’ve come and received forgiveness, redemption and restoration grace.

And we are being recreated, renewed back into that original image.

Colossians 3:10  and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him

It’s not enough that we receive forgiveness and remain as we were.

The goal of father was to put the grace of transformation in us – in our very nature so that we could be recreated and renewed to be complete and whole – in His image again.

Yes we receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness through Jesus, but not so that we refuse transformation, rather as the inner fuel and ability for transformation.

It’s true sons of God that they earth is waiting for.

We will prosper and have the best life when we submit to His nature

When we welcome His character and put to death the rebellious nature that is made in the likeness of Satan.

John 5: 17  Jesus said to them, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I, too, am working.”

This is how we manifest the reigning of Christ in each successive generation.

Reigning over the curse

Reigning over poverty

Reigning over the earth

Fulfilling the dominion mandate from Father

Have dominion, subdue and rule over the earth.  Genesis 1:28

Work is sacred and sanctified:

It is how Fathers sets us apart for a divine purpose in our generation.

To be called out for a purpose…

Fulfilling the call of God on our lives for our generation and for culture.

Acts 13:36  “For David, after he had served the purpose of God in his own generation, fell asleep, and was laid among his fathers

Jeremiah 1:4   Now the word of the Lord came to me saying,“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, And before you were born I consecrated you;I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.”

Work is sacred:

That is, to be offered back unto Him as our gift of contribution (for His glory) in our generation.

6 days we spend serving and washing our culture with our work

Is it a gift from God to work – that is to have purpose for each day

Proverbs 16:3  Commit your works to the LORD And your plans will be established.

Work is a gift from God

It is a gift from God to have the inner witness of work that is in harmony with purpose.

Ecclesiastes. 3: 12,13  I know that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and to do good in one’s lifetime;  moreover, that every man who eats and drinks sees good in all his labor– it is the gift of God.

Work is how we steward the gifts and the talents He’s loaned us:

Its Him who we want to please in our work.

Working according to our ability.

Colossians. 3:23   Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men

Matthew 25: 14-30
