Changing culture through the influence of Jesus comes through dispensing the blessing of God on people and their situations.
Here are some steps that we’ve discussed more fully in recent messages at New Horizon.
Second you have to see that you have been given the power to bless…That you are the expression and authority and manifestation of blessing In the earth.
You have been given the authority of the Kingdom of God!
When Jesus came to men, He came as the delegate of heaven.
The ambassador of heaven.
When He announced a healing, it came. When He announced forgiveness it was. When He decreed freedom it happened.
You now have been given the keys to the Kingdom. This is not just a personal benefit for you the saved one, but it is a benefit that you are to dispense. Freely you have received, so freely give.
Matthew 16:19 –“I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.”
Young’s Literal translation: “And I also say to thee, that thou art a rock, and upon this rock I will build my assembly, and gates of Hades shall not prevail against it and I will give to thee the keys of the reign of the heavens, and whatever thou mayest bind upon the earth shall be having been bound in the heavens, and whatever thou mayest loose upon the earth shall be having been loosed in the heavens.”
We have the authority to loose blessing and freedom and healing upon people.
Whatsoever you loose, shall be loosed.
Whatsoever you bind shall be bound.
John 20:19-23 So when it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst and *said to them, “Peace be with you.” And when He had said this, He showed them both His hands and His side. The disciples then rejoiced when they saw the Lord. So Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you; as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” And when He had said this, He breathed on them and *said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, their sins have been forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they have been retained.”
