Jesus…

Pastor Dwain Excellence, Faith, Ministry, Prayer, Promises from Daddy, Wisdom

Fathers goal during this dispensation of time has been to get Heaven on Earth

With Adam (first man) failing when tested He had to have another way to get Heaven on Earth

When the first Adam came He was born again already, already saved

He was connected to God in Spirit

God had put His spirit within Him in communion

He knew the voice of Father

He walked with God

They had daily fellowship in the Garden

He was the Lord of all things

Genesis 2:7,8

Adam’s fall was a fall to all linage.

All who are in Adam died

Because we are in Adam’s loins when he died

Romans 5:12 – 17

Jesus was God starting over!

God started over with Jesus (Yeshua) who would be the Christ, the Messiah, the long awaited one.

The second Adam, the Last Adam.    1 Corinthians. 15:45

Jesus the man became Jesus the Lord

Jesus conquered Satan

He conquered the curse

The curse was suspended for Him in His righteousness

He drove out demons— in His righteousness (not in his divinity)

He was Lord over nature—- in His righteousness

He walked on water —-in His righteousness

He healed the sick —–as a righteous son (one with Father)

None of this was in His divinity, but in His righteousness.

Righteousness was the primary key to all that Jesus did.

Righteous means

One with Father

No conflict with Father

No broken relationship

No disobedience

Which meant, Divine access to all that was in Fathers nature

If you are a son, made in the image of Father and you walk in righteousness, you have access to your inheritance as son.

I John 2:1 My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.…

Acts 7:52 Was there ever a prophet your ancestors did not persecute? They even killed those who predicted the coming of the Righteous One. And now you have betrayed and murdered him—

Isaiah 11: A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse;     from his roots a Branch will bear fruit. The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him—     the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding,     the Spirit of counsel and of might,     the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord— and he will delight in the fear of the Lord.

He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes,     or decide by what he hears with his ears; but with righteousness he will judge the needy,     with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth;     with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked.  Righteousness will be his belt     and faithfulness the sash around his waist.

Again,  RIGHTEOUSNESS MEANING:

Obedient to Father

Believing all that Father told Him

Submitted to Father

John 5:19  Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner. “For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself is doing; and the Father will show Him greater works than these, so that you will marvel.…

Modeling son ship

Modeling submission

Demonstrating the dominion given to a submitted one/ a righteous one

Calling God – Lord and Father

Righteousness gave Him full access to Fathers Kingdom and the power to bring that Kingdom to the earth.

Then he said, I will give you the Key’s to the Kingdom of Heaven

Matthew 16:13    Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, He was asking His disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” And they said, “Some say John the Baptist; and others, Elijah; but still others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.”  He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”  Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” And Jesus said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.  I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.” Then He warned the disciples that they should tell no one that He was the Christ.

Luke 12:29 And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.

“Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.

“Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Look at what Jesus was saying here!

Getting heaven on earth was a concern of Jesus, so obviously a concern of Father, after all that is the way it all started.  Eden was a type of heaven and the blessings of Eden were a type of heaven.

So we might conclude that Father must have wanted us to live in a type of heaven on earth or He wouldn’t have started us there.  So heaven was here once in the form of Eden.  So how do we get heaven back?

Jesus says He would and was about to give the disciples the keys to the Kingdom of heaven.

Then He says that once they get those keys they will be able to bind and loose, so as to produce the kingdom of heaven on earth.

In other words, with the Keys to the Kingdom, you will have authority.

So what are these Keys?

These Keys have to be something that was lost by Adam

Because Adam had a form of Heaven on earth

These keys have to be something that this man, this Last Adam can gain (win) and then grant

Righteousness would be the first Key given back to Mankind.

Romans 3:23   For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

The First Key that Jesus gave us was the Key of Righteousness

Righteousness was the key to all that He did – Then he tells us…

Seek first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness  Matthew 6:33

The Kingdom of God is Righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit  Romans 14:17

How do we receive His righteousness?

This righteousness comes to our spiritual bank account when we believe on the Jesus and call Him Lord of our lives.

It is a free gift given when we believe on Him.

The Righteousness Jesus gives us through faith

Romans 8:34  Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died–more than that, who was raised to life–is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

2 Cor. 5:21  God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

1 John 3:5  You know that He appeared in order to take away sins; and in Him there is no sin.

Romans 3:21  But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets,  even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe.

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

Romans 3:26  to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

Romans 5:12   Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned— (For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come. But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.  And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification. For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)

Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.

Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more,  so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Righteousness is believing in Jesus as Lord and following Him

Before it is doing good, working hard, trying, it is relationship.

It is friendship, submission, obedience, trust

Righteousness is activated by having total faith in Jesus

Trusting Him as Lord and Savior moment by moment

His Lordship doesn’t mean there won’t troubles in life, struggles, delay’s…

His Lordship does mean that He will lead you through your troubles.

Jesus will lead you through the mine field of Life

Jesus modeled righteousness – which was obedience to Father, calling Him Lord.

If you have seen the Father you have seen me

That obedience to Jesus is the only way one will experience heaven on earth

Obedience might mean your life

Obedience is imperative

There are many voices trying to get our attention

Beloved believe not every voice.

Who are we following?

Who are we listening to?

We can get careless, we can get

Trusting in ourselves is not necessarily distrust in our own mind, it is just trusting in us.

But Jesus is jealous over us that He is our source our hope our help our salvation

Some see Jesus the Lordship as the law.

Some shy away from embracing Jesus as Lord because their view is lopsided – one sided out of the framework of the Law.  When we think of Lord we often, due to the influence of the law and our prohibition thinking, we think of law giver, judge, punishment and punisher.

This is the wrong voice.  My sheep know my voice.

The voice we need to know his as is the one who leads us into triumph.

The Lord is my Shepherd

Psalm 23 (where does that voice want to lead us?)

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows. Surely goodness and loving kindness will follow me all the days of my life, And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

We know him as baby, but do we know him as Lord

Since He is Lord over History

Lord over Satan

We must making Him Lord

He is a rock of stumbling and offence.  Whoever trusts in Him will not be disappointed.

Romans 10: For Moses writes that the man who practices the righteousness which is based on law shall live by that righteousness. But the righteousness based on faith speaks as follows: “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Christ down), or ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).” But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed.”
