Vision, death of vision, rebirth of vision is a reoccurring theme woven throughout scriptures.
-A reoccurring theme as God brings the biblical characters into a place of usefulness.
-How will react or respond in life when all comes to this point?
-Embrace the death and prepare for resurrection!
Will you say no to the resurrection?
You will be tempted to say no, because the resurrection comes when you are dead.
-Dead to the dream.
-Dead to what you wanted.
-Dead to what you thought would be.
-Dead to what you thought God wanted to do.
At that point you don’t feel like resurrection. But it’s at that point that resurrection comes.
-This is where Israel missed God.
-This is where we find the 10 spies in Numbers 13
Numbers 13:31 But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. 32 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature. 33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.
Demoralized, depressed, fatigued, discouraged, disheartened. Yes, hope deferred makes the heart sick, but God…
-What if God wants to resurrect you.
-What if God wants to answer the prayer of resurrection you prayed 5 years ago.
-What if now is the time.?
-What if you are finally dead and he can now work with you?
Israel was Blind to the resurrection process.
So blind and bound they couldn’t see what God had just done on their way out of Egypt
They couldn’t see the Gold they were carrying, the sea that had been parted, the miracles of deliverance…
-So are you feeling dead?
-Have you gone through a crisis over your dreams and what you thought was in your heart?
-You are a candidate for the miracle of resurrection.
