CONFESSING THE NEW CREATION

CONFESSING THE NEW YOU

Now that you have become a new person on the inside, you can bring that new life into your everyday world, by believing and declaring what God says about you.

  1. Righteous

II Corinthians 5: 21  He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

I am the righteous of God.  The unrighteous, unbelieving person is dead and buried.  I renounce him.  My Father has made me righteous and covered me with His own righteousness.  I love being right with Him and right in His word.  I present my body to Him in righteousness and my body wants to please Him and do His will.

  1. Prosperous

Galatians 3: 9  So then those who are of faith are blessed with Abraham, the believer.10  For as many as are of the works of the Law are under a curse; for it is written, “CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO DOES NOT ABIDE BY ALL THINGS WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF THE LAW, TO PERFORM THEM.”11  Now that no one is justified by the Law before God is evident; for, “THE RIGHTEOUS MAN SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.”12  However, the Law is not of faith; on the contrary, “HE WHO PRACTICES THEM SHALL LIVE BY THEM.”13  Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us– for it is written, “CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO HANGS ON A TREE”–14  in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

  1. Strong

Philippians 4: 12  I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need.I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.

2 Corinthians 12: 9  And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may dwell in me.

10  Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.
