Restoration and redemption will be complete!

We have been duped into thinking that salvation for mankind is less than a total restoration to God’s original plan. For too long we in the church world have been told that salvation is only a spiritual restoration. We’ve been told that the physical manifestations of prosperity will come in the next age. To that I ask, who will need the blessings then? Christians will have no need for healing or prosperity in that day.

No, on the same day that the curse was pronounced, God declared that the redeemer and restorer would come someday to crush the serpent’s head.

Genesis 3:15 – And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; he shall bruise you on the head, and you shall bruise him on the heel.”

The apostle John tells us that the son of God appeared for this purpose that He might destroy the works of the devil. (See I John 3:8 for more on this.) The curse that came to mankind was a curse specifically upon Adam’s race. Satan held Adam’s race captive through sin, and there was no total escape from the curse until the promised seed came. Christ was the promised redemption seed and the fountain head of a new race of humans. He began a new species of beings.

Satan has no authority over Christ and those who are IN HIM. In Christ we become new creations, made in His image and in His likeness. In Christ we can expect to see the restoration of all the things that Adam lost.

Romans 5:17 – For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

We must understand that redemption in its implication has to be just as comprehensive as the effect of sin and the curse.

Ultimately, salvation through Christ turns back and overcomes the curse. Salvation comes to restore the world and mankind. Even now we can see examples of this. We can see God’s restoration to a garden of Eden similitude wherever men willingly follow the Lord Jesus Christ.

America is a great example of the blessings promised through Isaiah – blessings that were to come upon the righteous new covenant people.

As a result of the righteous people who founded our nation we have been blessed above all other nations on the earth. This was exactly the hope of the founding fathers.

Christians today fear the topic of money, because too many of us fear giving. We are reluctant to part with any of it for the sake of the Gospel. We are experiencing, to a degree, a love of money and a fear of loss.

Remember, knowledge of the truth expands the potential we have in cooperating with God for supernatural living. Application of the truth produces successful results in life. So we must go to the Word of God and not to the traditions of men, our feelings or our hang-ups.

We must get truth about prosperity and wealth.

Over the next few blogs we’ll look at some truths about money and the principles of increase. The Kingdom of God is backwards in many ways to the system of Satan, i.e. the world’s system:

  • Up is down.
  • Greatness is serving.
  • Prosperity comes from giving, not gathering.
  • Less is more (in keeping a day of rest.)
  • 90% is more than 100%.
